Duty Manager

DAMONS RESTAURANT IS LOOKING TO EMPLOY FULL & PART TIME DUTY MANAGER / SENIOR DUTY MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

• Damons American style Restaurant is famous for its speciality ribs and is seeking a new Duty Manager / Senior Duty Manager who will work closely with the General Manager and take an active role in supporting and assisting the management team. A successful candidate will oversee running shifts, ensuring correct procedures are followed and the store is operating to Damon’s standards.
• We are located south of Lincoln City and share our site with Damons Hotel.
• Rates of Pay: Beginning at £15.00 – £16.00 + per hour (dependant on experience).
• Hours of work: Shift patterns cover morning, afternoon and evening.
• This is a fixed permanent rota so that you can plan and organise your free time. Overtime available.
• This job is available with an immediate start.
• This is a permanent position.
• Experience in hospitality and management/supervisory roles is essential – full training will be given

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist and report to General manager
• Responsible for daily operations and exceeding sales expectations
• Assist with Rota administration
• Monitor and ensure standards and procedures across the restaurant
• Sound labour controls and effective cost management
• Lead and support team members to ensure quality food, service and cleanliness is achieved
• Effective management of staff
• Stock control
• Cashing out procedures
• Opening and closing the restaurant depending on shift patterns
• Cross train in all Front of House positions
